Regarding his work on Silo, Robbins effusively praised his time on the hit series, noting that it was the “longest relationship I’ve had with a character.” He also commended showrunner Graham Yost for creating an on-set environment that allowed the cast and crew to maintain a work-life balance, enabling them to show up and do their best work. “We were all treated well, we were all respected, all the cast members, all the crew members.” The positive experience was hard to walk away from, especially due to the people he met on the series. “I could let go of a character easily. I'm trained that way, you know? That's not gonna linger. But, you develop these deep bonds with people, and friendships and relationships. It's…yeah, it's not easy. I mean, it never has been.”

Diving into his website, timrobbins.com, the actor shared his excitement at getting to display memorabilia, content, and insights he has amassed from his time working in entertainment. What started as a way to clean out his storage closet, turned into a passion project. Robbins shared, “After a couple of discoveries that were pretty crazy, including a box of videotapes that I had made in the 80s on film sets, and including things that I had thought I had lost. I just decided, well, you know. Why not? Why not put it all in one place?”

Before wrapping, he touched upon his documentary, 45 Seconds of Laughter which he filmed pre-Covid and is scheduled to be released by The Criterion Channel in 2027.
